It is logical that doubts can arise before renting a motorhome, therefore we have compiled the most frequent questions with their corresponding answers. WHAT VEHICLES CAN I RENT AT LUXECARAVANING?

As we partner with the German franchise McRent, the entire fleet of vehicles LuxeCaravaning is composed exclusively of vehicles by the German brand Sunlight. In addition, due to company policy, none of our vehicles will ever exceed 2 years old.

WHAT MODELS CAN BE RENTED?

We have a wide variety of distributions, so we can offer models for 2 people (Sunlight T60) or larger motorhomes for 6 people (Sunlight A72).

CAN YOU RENT CARAVANS?

No, only motorhomes can be rented.

HOW CAN I PERFORM THE RENT?

If you are interested in booking a motorhome, there are three easy options: Send us an email to info@luxecaravaning.com explaining which vehicle you want and when you want to rent it. Call us at 96 134 07 88 and we will process it by telephone. Visit us at Calle Oller number 2, in the industrial park Fuente del Jarro.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO BE ABLE TO RENT A MOTORHOME?

The lessee and each of the drivers must be at least 25 years old.

WHAT CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE IS NEEDED TO RENT A MOTORHOME?

The driver must be in possession of a class B driving license with more than two years of experience or the corresponding national permit. If you are not a resident of the EU you must be in possession of the international driving license.

WHEN CAN I PICK THE MOTORHOME UP?

As a general rule, vehicle pickups will be made in the afternoon and returns in the mornings during LuxeCaravaning’s opening hours.

WHAT SHOULD I TAKE INTO ACCOUNT WHEN I GO TO COLLECT THE MOTORHOME?

Please note that between indications and formalities, the delivery process can take approximately 1 hour. We recommend that you meet at an exact time with the person in charge to avoid unnecessary waits. Do not plan long journeys for this day. The delivery does not have to be done in a hurry. Check with our staff that the vehicle is fully equipped and that any defect or sign of prior use is included in the delivery record.

DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT AT THE TIME OF PICKUP OF THE VEHICLE?

Yes, when picking up the motorhome a deposit of € 750.00 will be deposited by credit card. The owner of the card and the lessee must be the same person.

CLEANING

The interior of the vehicles is clean at the time of delivery, so the lessee must return the vehicle in the same state. Outside cleaning is included in the price. In case that we have to clean the interior of the vehicle in whole or in part, empty the waste water tank and / or the WC, the lessee will pay for all expenses derived from that. Any eventual expenses will have to be paid on the spot.

IS INSURANCE INCLUDED?

Under the principles of full insurance, in case of major damages, the lessor will exempt the lessee from the responsibility of the material damages, with a excess of 750.00 €, to be assumed by the lessee. The tenant, under no circumstances, will be exempted from their civil, administrative, criminal or any other liabilities that are the consequence of a sinister or intentional behavior.

BEHAVIOR TO BE FOLLOWED IN CASE OF ACCIDENT OR DAMAGE

In the event of an accident, theft, fire or damage caused by game animals, the lessee must immediately inform the police and the landlord. In addition you must inform us about all the details related to the accident and give you the part of accidents duly completed. The responsibility of the event will never be recognized or prejudiced, except for the “Friendly Accident Statement”.

WHERE CAN I GET DRINKING WATER DURING THE TRIP?

At many gas stations and campgrounds. In most cases you only have to pay a small amount to fill the water tank.

WHERE CAN I GET GAS DURING THE TRIP?

With the delivery of the vehicle, you will receive two full gas tanks of 11 kg, which you can return empty at no cost. In many gas stations and in most campsites you can fill the gas tanks. Keep in mind that there are different gas connections and gas tanks abroad. You will not be able to exchange the Spanish bottles for others that you can acquire abroad.

CAN ANIMALS BE CARRIED ALONG FOR THE JOURNEY?

For the rent, pets like dogs and cats are not accepted.

WHAT MOTOR DO VEHICLES CARRY?

Our vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art turbodiesel engines.

ARE MOTORHOMES AVAILABLE WITH AUTOMATIC GEAR?

In our fleet there are no motor homes equipped with automatic transmission and / or hitch.

ARE THERE CANCELLATION CHARGES?

In case of termination of a binding reservation, the lessee must pay the following cancellation fees:

  • Up to 50 days before the start of the rental, 15% of the rental price.
  • Between 49 and 15 days before the start of the rental, 50% of the rental price.
  • Less than 15 days before the start of the rental, 80% of the rental price.
  • The same day of the rent or if the vehicle is not collected, 95% of the rental price.
